this feels really unfamiliar. hasn't felt like very long since i've been here, but it's been a little over 4 months, one CA, a few cycles, a camera, a church production, lots of 9gag and a very long time since m1 ended.

This comes here simply because it's convenient. I don't have a habit of journalling on pen and paper, and the journal usually misplaces itself after a while. But I suppose it's good to end off the year thinking about what happened.

I thought 2011 was going to be big:
pros, holidays, trips, musicals, concerts.
damn I was right.

In a way, I am thankful for this blog. whatever I don't really remember usually ends up in here, one way or another. despite the vague descriptions, having an idea of what happened is still a good thing to know.

friends come and friends go,
things happen, people say things. many things.
but true friends you can be sure of
though shit does happen some times haha.
2011 was a good year for that;
hope it stays that way.
more people coming in to uni next year,
this is going to be fun.

music hasn't changed much.
amazingly, the top 2 most played songs in my library are songs from '10: 1901 and One.
2011 was the year for nostalgic music; favourite bands releasing new songs and all.
I wonder what 2012 will be like.

what do I want out of 2012? resolutions here.
just a recap of 2011 so I know what happened.

January: Penang. MBS. lost phone.
February: start doing Flag. CNY. serious baking because we had time.
March: 400th blog post. CA3. get back phone.
April: USS. overnight cycling. studying. period.
May: PROS. Australia.
June: Australia, Malaysia, Mongolia
July: What july? oh. flag. baking. alma mater matters.
August: school starts again. rotaract.
September: a month by any other name
October: PHS.
Novermber: CA2. Camera. playhouse begins
December: playhouse. Playing God. Street Photography. 117km.

I now know why I blog and take photographs. to be able to capture a moment in prose or picture; that is precious to me.

2011 was a good year.
to 2012, may God guide the way.
Auspicium Melioris Aevi.
just kidding.
