since teacher's day is officially tomorrow, i think i shall take this opportunity to thank my teachers.

really, i think my teachers have been really patient with me (as well as the rest of the guys in class). i mean, they've had to endure 8 months of loud talking, shouting, occasional swearing, forgetting to bring (and do) homework (ahem ahemvietahem ahem), answering stupid questions "why are myxoviruses called so", trying to catch people eating in class (mostly me), waking up people who fall asleep in class (me, unfortunately), and so on.

so i think the teachers deserve a big THANKYOU for all the effort they put in. despite all the shit that we throw at them. yes.

also, all the best to mrs tui who's going to have a baby boy!

ok so paul tern's birthday is over. and we had quite a lot of fun preparing and executing it.

so this is what happened. first there was the insane and rather stupid antics of the bunch of us at the back of the hall. there were the usual remarks coming from the usual people. and we cheered for jorel and slau. unfortunately there were the intermittent power cuts. so it was interesting when the power died when slau was singing. pity there weren't any pictures of slau going crazy.

then after the celebration the av buggers were preparing to cut the power to the microphones, when we got on stage to wish paul happy birthday. here's an excerpt from the conversation on the stage.

slau: "hey guys, we know today is teacher's day, but today is also special for another reason. it's paul tern's birthday!"

"birthday song"

"ok guys, let's get paul backstage so he can change!"

-brief pause-

"TAUPOKKKKKK!"

and paul went down, together with a sizeable portion of the class. All happening when Mrs Lim was staring at us. hmm.

then paul got changed at the back of the stage with the concillors running about and clearing up. then he got down to the stadium steps. and became the human canvas/mudpile. the mixture we poured on him pretty much contained all the nonsense we could find, including cement, soil, ants, soap, tissue paper, coffee from a teacher's cup and a little bit of coconut juice. with ants.

so paul had quite an interesting birthday. with a rather unique present. all thanks to the people from 4P :D

4P is a very unique class for a good reason. See those posters plastered all around school? guess who.

see paul tern get signed on tomorrow? guess who.

see cake being thrown everywhere? guess who.

4P is the bomb. so we blow all the competition away. and when all else fails we can rely on our ever-trusty deputy head councillor paul to fight for us. (if we don't kill him tomorrow)

so now i sit down realizing that promos are in 6 weeks.

then again, lots of stuff has happened i'm not so sure i want promos to come.

firstly was national day. so josh ben jorel and i went to lock ourselves up in the MEP room for quite a while. Three of them were singing and playing the piano. And i was using ben's laptop as a bolster to sleep D:

so after that we went for dinner. and it turns out that the food this time was quite decent. unfortunately it started to rain, so we decided to seek shelter somewhere since the roof was leaking rain like a strainer. So we ended up in the PAC. As usual, when it comes to free food we never say no, so we decided to eat up.

And it turns out that we have really big appetites. ok well, not very big appetites, but the plates were kinda small. so after that we went to the hall for the concert.

The concert was interestingly interesting. Council should organize this sort of events more often (even though national day only comes once a day). we seriously went mad: me josh jorel slau ben merrill and the softballers. we threw lightsticks around and onto the stage. and almost hit the host. darn. it was quite a big target too. We screamed ourselves hoarse during community singing as well as during various other songs. Then again, we only sang twice that night. hmm.

and after that came the fun part. we arranged to go up to the 6th floor to take a class photo. as expected, nothing ever happens exactly as planned with our class. and class photos are really not what they seem. no one really takes suicide/humping/taupok photos and passes them off as a class photo. well, only our class does.

so this is an example of one of the pictures taken. quite a tame one, by our standards. which really is a good thing.

there are alot of other photos that are seriously deemed too, um, nice for public viewing. and showing them to the general public will be rather damaging to certain people's reputations. but then i guess quite a lot of people have seen what has happened on certain people's birthdays. so i guess most people know what we do. and paul tern's birthday is in 2 weeks! so we shall arrange it so that it coincides with teacher's day. so that we can have a large and noisy birthday bash.

stay tuned ^^
