I sometimes wish I could have gone overseas these months.
not to like malaysia or wdv but to somewhere further, out of asia.
then I think of what I might have otherwise missed:
the smell of charred flesh (IT SMELLS GOOD)
blood fountains
BRAINS
acting
(really) late nights
torchlight
AEDs (maybe not)
CA, AFP and many more
padang
soccer
frisbee
CIRCLES OF WILLIS
that I was having fun in many other ways,
and the paradigm shifts,
I turn and go back to sleep.

on call is an excuse for:
hi doctor, I have a new patient who is making alot of noise, can you sedate him?
hi doctor, new admission in ward x can you come and see the patient?
hi doctor, patient x is prepped for operation.
hi doctor, patient is bleeding (oh not good.)
all this at 3 in the morning.
plus emergencies.
plus catheters and sharp needles.
and cpr, the defib and a death cert.
watching life slip away as adrenaline surges;
chaos rules the backyard.

back from malaysia truly asia
though I must say it really wasn't truly asia.
spent most of the time shopping,
eating,
walking.
having fun basically.
except for sunway lagoon which was, in all honesty, scamway lagoon. met with teenstreet people,
experienced youth nightlife sans shisha smoking,
slashed prices at chinatown,
watched avatar 3d for a steal,
hey let's go again.
and pandora looks damn awesome in avatar.
pity the guy at the video shop didn't have it in better quality

since 09 is over it's time for reflection.
09 has been a fun year. was fun, did many things.
jan 09: what happened it went by so fast. operationroom, chinese new year and sleepover
feb 09: PSC talk and drum lessons
mar 09: PREZ apps. crazy half of the month. CT1 the other crazy half
apr 09: rafflesfest and AQ09. biking in the rain.
may 09: PREZ interview, rock concert, NEWPHONE, jellybeans
june 09: SATS, church camp, uniqlo
july 09: CT2, PREZ ceremony. whoop.
aug 09: shoe01, NDP rally
sept 09: prelims. wowee.
oct 09: $1DINNER, grad ceremony, cards
nov 09: the big As, shoe2
dec 09: prom, TS, church concert
hey this year wasn't that bad
apart from the underlying issues ahem
nevermind not important.
but this year kicked ass.
prayer always
for the new year to be a good one
to be able to walk with God even when i enter NS
for A level results
for small things in life
for larger things in life
for problems and concerns
for family to not quarrel
to get fitter.
