i'm back from class chalet. i must say, this one failed to disappoint. i guess, like what ben said, we didn't have the critical mass, but we were alright where it counted.

so it started on tuesday, the motley bunch of us at white sands. dinner. chalet. rooming. arcade duly checked. records still there. skills still honed. people staring thinking we were out of our mind.

day 2. morning swim with ben. i guess morning swims are good for burning fat. then again, i can't even confirm that swimming helps to burn fat. went to school for pipes, then went shopping with ben. back at chalet, cooked. mixed up salt with MSG. and the sauce was sour. swimming was a good cure. but polo with a large raisin of a ball isn't the best of solutions. st tried to be a perv. and, um, succeeded. fell asleep on the couch for an hour then went to try and take pictures with care bears at downtown east. a pity we didn't look too small. and we didn't have tickets. back, dinner, arcade and cards.

day 3. routines fall into place. the rest of the 4P people come! bball. arcade. bomb making is a tedious and smelly process. but all for a good cause. tried barbecue/swim/birthday bash was fun. happy birthday to ben and gan! happy birthday to daniel and chee too! night comes and people have to go. we all walked down to cheers and tried to buy beer. goodness. if the big one fails, how are we going to be able to get any? but we did, anyway. talked away as usual. then konked out at 3.

day 4. failed to wake up at 7 as usual. so went for lunch with leo hp gan then went home.

it seems strange, really. our class, well, this class chalet was much much smaller than before. there was much less hype and everything. and we camwhored alot more. when we were playing bridge, st was playing it ends tonight by TAAR. i don't know why, but that really made it feel strange. like our class was going to fall apart and by tomorrow, we wouldn't be one 4P again. our class is legendary, really. there is NO other class that will ever be able to replicate what we did (or didn't do in RI). so really, there isn't a magic formula that we had. we just behaved as how we did among other people. masks come off, everyone shows his true colours with 4P. and that's what makes us special. i was thinking of blasting won't go home without you, but that would have been really anti-climatic and besides, i'm sure we really wouldn't forget each other.

oh well. i have ranted enough. back to photosynthesis. and piping. and i haven't gotten viva la vida yet. grrarh.
